We took the bus from Kawaguchiko to Mishima so we could catch the Bullet Train from Mishima to Kyoto the following day.
We had a day to kill in Mishima so we wandered around the town, park and went for some nice food. There’s not much going on in Mishima as its more of a hub for catching the Bullet Train for those that have been to Kawaguchiko.
Taking a journey on a Bullet Train is a must for anyone visiting Japan. As expected it was bang on time departing Mishimaand arriving in Kyoto, Japanese efficiency at its best.
It was an extremely enjoyable journey and a great way to see a big chunk of Japan from your comfortable seat (albeit at very high speeds).
