Copy of PuntaTombo

We visited Punta Tombo which is part of a long narrow peninsula on Argentina’s central coast back in 2011 as part of a year-long round-the-world trip.

We also visited Peninsula Valdes and Puerto Madryn.

The main reason for coming to this part of Argentina was to try and see the Orcas that patrol the coast looking for seals. It’s one of the only places in the world where Orcas beach to catch their prey.

Unfortunately, we didn’t witness this which was very disappointing. It was still a great part of our trip.
