Another great day in Tokyo.

Eating some lovely Japanese Ramen at Kamukura Noodle Bar, re-visiting Shenshoji Temple (Tokyo’s oldest Temple), wandering around Shin Okubu – Korea Town and finishing off the day in Shinjuku at Omoide Yokocho; one of Tokyo’ ghetto eating/drinking areas.

Kamakura

Kamakura

You pre-pay for your food on the street. It’s a good system which means you don’t have to wait too long for your food to arrive.

I love how Japan has a technical solution for pretty much everything.

I was ready for this.

Busy chefs. I love open kitchens where you can watch the chefs at work.

Gorgeous food. Honestly, as I write this my mouth is watering. The best Ramen I’ve ever tasted.

I love travelling the world eating new and exciting food.

Shensoji Temple

Shensoji Temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple and dates back to 645 AD. The official name of Shensoji Temple is “Kinryuzan” or “Golden Dragon Mountain”.

Shinsoji Temple

Tokyo’s biggest souvenir market and food stalls lead the way to Shinsoji Temple.

Shinjuku

Possibly the coolest hotel in the world – Hotel Gracery with a big Godzilla Head on the top of it – how cool is that?

Very cool dragon graffiti.

Omoide Yokocho – Ghetto eating area

One of the prettiest places you can visit for some of the best street food you will ever eat. I’d eaten earlier so I didn’t eat much apart from a couple of lovely chicken skewers washed down with a cool beer.
