Machu Picchu was another big tick off the bucket list. It’s an incredible place to visit.
Photo’s and TV don’t do it justice, you have to see it with your own eyes to appreciate the grandeur of the place.
It’s amazing to think Machu Pichu was built around 1450 by the ancient Inca’s. We were very lucky as we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Aguas Calientes is the nearest main town to Machu Pichu.

The workmanship and skill that went into building Machu Pichu around the time of 1450 – 1460 is mindblowing.

Don’t mess with Mother Nature. This was an amazingly powerful torrent and quite spectacular to witness.
