We stayed in the beautiful city of Pokhara (also known as the gateway to the Himalayas) for a few nights to acclimatize before heading off on our amazing 10-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp.
Pokhara is a great place with plenty to see and do. Phewa Lake was right next to our hotel so we took a couple of strolls around it and also hired a boat to explore for a couple of hours which was well worth it.
It’s a great place to relax before heading off for a grueling Himalayan trek.
