Argentina

Argentina is a fabulous and absolutely enormous country to visit. 

Perito Moreno Glacier, 2011 

Back in 2011 as part of our year-long round the world trip we spent a couple of months traveling around South America.

One of the highlights of the trip was walking over the Perito Moreno Glacier.

I’ve visited most terrains the world has to offer but never a glacial area so it was a real treat to be able to visit and walk on the glacier. It really is a sight to behold. At the end of the walk, we were all given a nice glass of whisky with glacial ice which tasted fantastic and also warmed the cockles as it is very windy and bitterly cold up there.
