China

China is another absolutely fascinating country to visit.

We actually found it quite hard work getting around China because very few people spoke English (outside of the places we were staying) but it was still well worth persevering as it was unlike anywhere we had traveled to before and that to me is one of the joys of traveling; getting out of your comfort zone and challenging yourself. 

 

Visiting the Great Wall of China (the Beijing Section) back in 2011 was definitely a tick off the bucket list.

You will not believe how steep the Great Wall Of China is in parts.

It really is an amazing feat of engineering. Great memories of that day.
