View From The Empire State Building, New York City | 2004

It was amazing to see the view from the Empire State Building in New York back in 2004.

The Empire State Building is one of the most recognisable symbols of New York City and a defining feature of its skyline. Completed in 1931, it was the tallest building in the world for nearly 40 years and remains an architectural and cultural icon.

Rising 1,454 feet including its antenna, the building is famed for its Art Deco design and commanding views across Manhattan. Its observation decks provide a panoramic perspective of the city’s streets, rivers, and surrounding boroughs, offering a tangible sense of New York’s scale and energy.

Beyond its height, the Empire State Building has appeared in countless films, photographs, and works of art, cementing its status as a global cultural landmark. Visiting the building is as much about appreciating its history and design as it is about taking in the sweeping views of the city below.
