During our stay in Yangon, Myanmar, we spent a few nights at the Best Western Hotel as part of a tour of the country. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is full of bustling markets, narrow streets, and a fascinating mix of local life that’s perfect for exploring on foot.

This video was filmed in the market area just around the hotel, capturing the energy, colours, and rhythms of daily life in Yangon. From street vendors selling fresh produce and snacks to locals going about their routines, it offers a real sense of the city beyond the main tourist sites.
